01 / The Problem
You got listed. You paid for the slot, the stock, the shelf space. But the product isn't moving.
A product on the shelf is not a product sold.
The sale is won or lost in the last three feet.
That gap, between your product being present and your product being picked, is the one NM Ingenious was built to close.
Inside the store, the real battle
The whole business, in one line
What looks good, sells fast. Presence, packaging and a trained voice at the shelf are not decoration. They are the difference between a product that waits and a product that moves.
What We Are
One job: turning shelf presence into sell-out. Trained people at the shelf, run with discipline, tracked in real time, compliant end to end. One operating system for promoters, merchandising, activation, payroll and intelligence.
Your product is in stores, but offtake is below expectation.
Your brand is seen, but shoppers still pick competition.
Attendance is happening, but shopper interaction and conversion are weak.
Sampling and demos are happening, but not translating into purchase.
You get data, but not enough insight into what is blocking sell-out.
Competitor offers, promoters, displays and retailer push are influencing shopper decisions.
Displays, POSM, promoters and schemes are not translating into measurable store performance.
The operating model
We identify what is happening at the shelf: availability, placement, displays, stock, competition and shopper behaviour.
We put trained human influence at the point of purchase: engagement, explanation, objection handling, nudging.
Right promoter, right store, trained, groomed, supervised, compliant, covered and reported. Every week.
Every store interaction becomes intelligence: objections, competitor offers, stock-outs, price resistance, switching triggers.
Intelligence becomes action: refresher training, store interventions, stock alerts, better scripts, weekly reviews.
We help the brand get noticed and considered: active shopper approach, visibility prompts, sampling triggers, launch hooks.
We help shoppers understand why the brand is worth buying: benefits, usage, variants, price-value, honest comparison.
We help shoppers decide: objection handling, trial conversion, SKU recommendation, offer-led closing, basket building.
Every interaction creates a sale or a learning: productivity reviews, competitor tracking, weak-store action plans.

What lands in your inbox
The flagship report. Shows whether retail presence is moving towards sales.
Who it's for
Built for activation managers planning coverage, and for online-first brands stepping into offline retail: we quantify how many stores, how many shoppers and how often, then hold that number every week.
Higher offtake, stronger visibility, better store throughput.
Assisted selling, demonstration, consultation, benefit explanation.
Education, trust-building, claim explanation.
Sampling, trial, feedback, faster adoption.
Converting online awareness into offline purchase.
Value justification and guided purchase.
Shifting shoppers from legacy competitors.
Reach & frequency
These are the planning inputs an activation manager needs before signing a deployment: how many outlets, how often, how many shoppers, and how reliably the visit actually happens.
0+
Outlets under active coverage
Modern trade and general trade outlets on live programmes across client brands.
0+
Cities covered
Metro, tier 1 and tier 2 clusters with supervisor presence.
0×/month
Standard visit frequency
Baseline rhythm for an A-class outlet. B and C classes run 2× and 1× per month.
0%
Visit adherence
Planned visits completed and geo-verified, trailing 12-month average across programmes.
| Store class | Share of universe | Frequency | Contribution |
|---|---|---|---|
| A class | 20% of outlets | 4 visits / month | ~60% of category sell-out |
| B class | 35% of outlets | 2 visits / month | ~28% of category sell-out |
| C class | 45% of outlets | 1 visit / month | ~12% of category sell-out |
How to read these numbers. Outlet, city and adherence figures are aggregates across live and recently concluded programmes, not a guarantee for any single brand. Store-class shares and contribution bands are planning benchmarks drawn from FMCG and beauty categories and will shift by category, season and geography.
Shopper reach depends on store footfall, category shelf position and campaign window. Committed reach and frequency for your brand are fixed only after the store universe is mapped and agreed in writing during the audit.
Offline expansion
Your growth online was built on data, iteration and attribution. We run offline the same way — a rented field organisation, a measured pilot and a per-store P&L before you commit to scale.
We read your ecommerce and quick-commerce data first — which pincodes buy, which SKUs repeat, which packs move. That map decides which cities and store clusters you enter, so offline starts where your shopper already exists.
You do not hire a single field employee. Promoters, merchandizers, supervisors, payroll and statutory compliance sit on our books, deployed under your brand standard from day one.
Facings, planogram compliance, price and offer visibility, stock availability and a trained human at the shelf together do the job your product page, reviews and retargeting did online.
A pilot cluster runs for 8 to 12 weeks with sell-out measured per outlet per week. Stores that do not pay for themselves are dropped, the winning profile is cloned city by city.

Every week we ask
Deployment is where we start, not where we stop. We do not measure people supplied. We measure sell-out delivered.
Start here
If your product is listed, visible and still not selling the way you know it should, we will find what is blocking it and build the field system that fixes it. It starts with one audit.
